Alpaca

These wonderful creatures, besides being incredibly cute, also provide one of the softest and warmest fiber in the world.

Native to South America, alpacas are herd animals and gentle beings, but that are sometimes also used as guards for sheep.

Often confused with Llamas, alpacas are smaller and mainly bred for their fiber.
