About Rango Mango
The idea for Rango Mango started to take shape in 2018 and it has since been changing its form. Each iteration of Rango Mango has had two things in common: the love for knitting and the need to share it with other people.
We (one person to be exact) are working exclusively online from a small Portuguese town, Marinha Grande. Here you can find Portuguese and Scandinavian yarn, as well as knitting accessories. The majority of the yarn we sell is untreated and made of natural fibers.
The store got it's name from a Portuguese expression my father made up for when someone was taking a long time to finish something. I'm a slow knitter and don't worry to much about being in a state of "rango mango" while knitting. Knitting takes time and appreciating the process is a part of it.
About me: I'm Fabi, a Portuguese woman, almost 40, and I've been knitting for 20 years. I got to know more about Scandinavian yarn when I lived in Denmark and it's with great pleasure that I now bring it to Portugal.
I live in Marinha Grande with my two cats and my energetic dog. You can find me on Ravelry where I also sell a few knitting patterns.
