Sandnes Garn Alpakka

Sandnes Garn Alpakka is a soft and comfortable 4-ply yarn made out of Peruvian or Bolivian Alpaca fleece. Alpaca yarn is warmer than ordinary wool, but due to its hollow and breathable fiber, it feels warm in cold weather and cooler in warmer temperatures. Alpaca fiber doesn't contain lanolin, making it a great choice for people with a wool allergy.

Sandnes Garn Alpakka is made of one of the softest alpaca fiber grades, with 25-26 microns. Use it for your softest knits, accessories and garments alike.
